I have had the Polti Vaparetto now for over a few years. It all started back when I was downtown and someone was doing a show of the Vaparetto. I stopped and watched as most of the people that were there did. The machine was known to clean all products without any chemicals on my part. The demonstration went well so I decided to purchase the unit right there. The lady that was doing the demonstration took out the iron head that went on the unit and attached it. She then took out a shirt that had a lot of wrinkles and a bunch of steam came out of the unit. All of a sudden out of nowhere all the wrinkles were gone. I had never seen anything that looked so easy in my entire life. This meant no more ironing for the rest of my life, and I truly hate that part of doing clothes.
The machine costs quite a good bit especially here in the states. So I decided to buy it and take it home to give it a try. If I bought the unit then while she was giving the presentation then they offered a free attachment and I think it was 10% off the normal price. So the value that was being sold I could not have passed up if I wanted to. I bought the vaparetto and took it home. You know I felt like a kid when I brought that thing home. I thought it was the most amazing thing in the world. I thought that my entire house was going to be clean and bug free. No more allergies for me and the kids.
Make sure you get the right version since this is an Italian made machine. You don’t want to get home and have the unit not have the right plug on the end. This would be one of the worst things that could happen. Imagine you are all excited to open this new product and get started using it and then you realize that you can’t even plug it in unless you take a plane to another country or replace your electrical outlets in your house. This would be no good to anyone.
The unit has worked almost like I expected it to. I was a little disappointed at how it cleaned windows. It did not quite do as well as I hoped and as it looked in the demonstration. The ironing however has been the main thing that I use this device for. I still clean the rest of the house with it from time to time and it works very well. I just love to use it while ironing though since it cuts my ironing time in half and it works wonders.
